Well accessible gravel way until Garadur. From here on a good footwear and perseverance are in demand. " einspurige" Walking way leads by the forest more hinuter to the lake. If one reached the lake, one enjoys a beautiful migration the lake along until outer ones.

To short migration by the village Quinten and its Rebberge, are now again uphill, to over the quarry between Quinten and Betlis. This part is rock-interspersed. Cords and rope railings make a harmless walking possible - however one should be nevertheless carefully, particularly with the Retourweg. If one reached the height, it goes approx. 200 meters on a well accessible way toward Rinquelle (560 MüM). This quite large source at the mountain, flows by an underground Höhlensystem. Their water pours in an impressive Wasserfall toward whale lake. From then on, it still another cat leap is until Betlis.

From Betlis to Weesen we have again motor traffic, which runs in the half deferment of payment clock and single-lane. The road leads along the lake.

Weesen 430 m.ü.M. - Betlis 421 m.ü.M. 1h
From the port a well accessible road leads toward Betlis. The road is single-lane driven on in the half deferment of payment clock. Starting from Betlis one can move then only as pedestrians toward Quinten.

Amden (Lehnirank 666 m.ü.M.) - Betlis 421 m.ü.M. 1h
From the wonderful village highly over the whale lake, it goes steeply downhill up to the lake (Betlis).

Betlis 421 m.ü.M. - Quinten 434 m.ü.M. 2h
From Betlis it continues only to foot. After the excursion to the Rhinquelle (560 m.ü. M.), goes it now along the north flank of the whale lake, about 200 meters uphill. The first part can be zürückgelegt on a very beautiful and broad way. Afterwards it goes somewhat more steeply and stonier downhill to Quinten. Cords and rope railings secure a harmless walking, nevertheless should one eight give.

Between Quinten and outer ones one finds broad gravel road that also well with a wheelchair or a buggy is to be mastered.

Au 420 m.ü.M. - Walenstadtberg (Garadur  829 m.ü.M.) 1h 05min.
At the beginning the way still the lake leads along toward Walenstadt. Then it goes however still rather uphill. Good footwear and perseverance are in demand.

Walenstadtberg (Garadur 829 m.ü.M.) - Walenstadt-Hafen 424 m.ü.M. 1h 05min.
A beautiful gravel street leads from the Garadur wonderful lain, down by the forest up to the port in Walenstadt.
Walking ways Quinten - Laubegg - Schwaldis - Walenstadtberg

Quinten 434 m.ü.M. - Laubegg 1538 m.ü.M. 2h 30min.
The walk starts at the foot of the powerful mountains. Steeply uphill, the impressive rock along, the way leads after Laubegg, of where one enjoys super an outer view on the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Laubegg 1538 m.ü.M. - Schwaldis 1434 m.ü.M. 2h 
Now one can have a break, because the walk leads across the combs after Schwaldis. On the left side, one sees the powerful mountains falling and right her off up to the lake.

Schwaldis 1434 m.ü.M. - Walenstadtberg 790 m.ü.M. 1h 25min.
At the beginning of still another gravel way, then downhill up to the post office on geteerter road, which is also passable. Starting from Schrina 1290 m.ü. M. (shortly after Schwaldis), drives a post office car to Walenstadtberg.

Walenstadtberg 790 m.ü.M. - Schwaldis 1434 m.ü.M 2h 5min.
Until Schrina 1290 m.ü. M. (shortly before Schwaldis), drives a post office car. The way after Schwaldis is ideal for a family trip. A broad way, with wonderful outlook on the surrounding mountains.

Schwaldis 1434 m.ü.M. - Laubegg 1538 m.ü.M. 1h 45min.
After a few flat meters, a lighter descent follows and afterwards goes to ' s over the combs until Laubegg. On the right side the mountains rise up up and on the left side, fall them off up to the lake.

Laubegg 1538 m.ü.M. - Quinten 434 m.ü.M. 1h 30min.
Steep way downhill.
